Stanford, California – The Iowa State women’s basketball team won a recruitment battle just hours before they faced Stanford in the NCAA Tournament’s second round.

Danish guard Freya Jensen, who stands five feet eleven inches tall, revealed on social media on Sunday that she will be joining the Cyclones. Jensen belongs to the 2025 class. In February, she paid Iowa State an official visit.

Just to get to Ames for her visit, she had to take five flights. She was raving about the Iowa State fan base she had heard so much about on the trip sport.
